Like the hopefuls say in Hollywood at Oscar time: “It’s an honor just to be nominated.” That is exactly how we felt when Michael Saunders & Company was nominated for the International Property Awards that were handed out in London a few weeks ago. In their twelve years in existence, The International Property Awards have set the standard by which leaders in the world’s real estate industry are measured. Heralding the highest levels of achievement in a number of categories, these awards have been embraced as the “Oscars” of the global real estate industry. So you can just imagine how enormously proud we felt when the company won three of the evening’s top prizes. Nominated for both Best Real Estate Agency in the State of Florida and Best Real Estate Agency in the United States, we were overjoyed to hear our name announced as winner of BOTH! Before we could even get over the elation and absorb the magnitude of winning these two top awards, we were even more astounded to hear Michael Saunders & Company singled out for the evening’s top honor—Best International Real Estate Agency. Astounded yes; surprised no. Our biggest dilemma that night, quite honestly, was how to thank everyone who made the big win possible. How do you mention the name of every person in the company without being hustled offstage? At any rate, I would like to publicly recognize those people who made that glorious evening possible. They would, of course, be every single associate and staff member in this company.
