Gene Bretoi has been a Sarasota resident for 20 years. During his 18 years as a mortgage banker, he served as vice president of residential lending for SouthTrust Bank, president of the Gulf Coast Mortgage Bankers Association, SW Florida manager of DeGeorge Mortgage and was a residential construction lender for builders and developers with Washington Mutual prior to retiring from banking. He joined his wife, Betty Mullinnix, at Michael Saunders & Company full time in December 2004. They specialize in Golf course and waterfront properties. Gene has been an avid sailor for many years and enjoys woodworking and remodeling. When not selling real estate, Gene and Betty can be found in the West Indies.
