Born in New Jersey, Kathleen Griffin relocated to the Gulf Coast of Florida in 1977. In 1987, she met her husband in Sarasota, where they raised their two children with the help of Sarasota County public schools. Today, her family continues to be involved in Sarasota County Parks and Recreation sports programs. Kathleen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1987 with a major in finance and began her professional career in tax and accounting. Since the year 2000, she has been selling residential real estate with an emphasis on corporate relocation.
