Maureen James Doherty (nicknamed Mo) was previously a location manager for the film and television industry, where her position required her to scout locations that matched the script and budget of the production. Her site choices were then “sold” to the director and producer. With this career, she dealt with various property types in a range of locations.
Her love for city life, the arts & culture makes her the perfect downtown specialist. She is passionate about keeping up with Sarasota’s ever-changing skyline. She considers it a challenge to know everything there is to know about downtown Sarasota. Her slogan is "Mo knows."
Another passion of Maureen’s is the beach, where she enjoys seashell collecting, photography and sunsets. Her affection for the beach makes her a natural as a specialist in Gulf Coast beach properties.
She recently partnered with her twin brothers Michael and Joe James and husband Patrick Doherty. Together they make up the James Brothers Real Estate Team.
