Thirty-year Sarasota resident Barbara Corbett follows in the footsteps of her family, who have been active in Florida real estate for more than five decades. Her attention to detail, marketing savvy and attentive service combine to make buying or selling real estate a truly rewarding experience.
Barbara has a background in business, having owned or managed several managed-care companies. Known for her uncompromising integrity and community involvement, she serves on the board of the Ear Research Foundation and is Chapter Chair for SCORE. She has served on the boards of Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Coastal Behavioral Health, the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Health Planning Council of SW Florida and the District 8 Managed Care Ombudsman Committee.
Raised in Palm Beach, Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida at Gainesville. She is trained in opera and loves to sing and play guitar. She and her husband, Dr. David Corbett, enjoy golfing, theatre, sailing, traveling and the pleasures of Sarasota living. They have two children and three young grandchildren.
