A native of Chicago, Jennifer Topjun, then Jennifer Kolar, moved to Sarasota with her family in 1981. She attended Sarasota schools and resided in Sarasota's premier "West of the Trail" area, McClellan Park. In 1993, she headed off to the University of Massachusetts. Boston's cultural atmosphere was a perfect fit for her art history and photography degree. After graduating, she worked successfully in commercial photography in Orlando, Florida, but Sarasota beckoned. In 1999, she joined Michael Saunders & Company as a licensed administrative assistant. She sharpened her skills, learned the strategies necessary for success and launched her own career. Investment strategies, zoning knowledge, and great communication skills have made Jennifer a well-respected member of the real estate community. Her clients know that she will always go to the ends of the earth for them. Jennifer is fluent in Slovak and can manage in Polish quite nicely. Jennifer lives in Forest Lakes Country Club Estates with her husband, Colby Topjun, and pride-and-joy son, 4-year old Nathan. They are expecting a daughter in June 2007. She is an active part of her neighborhood and serves on the social committee for Forest Lakes, which organizes several neighborhood events yearly. Jenifer also serves on the Leadership Council and Fiscal Sustainability Committee for CYD - Community Youth Development Project.
