Jerry Strom was born in Nebraska, raised in Chicago and earned a degree from Beloit College in economics. He served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in Vietnam, Ft. Bragg and Ft. Campbell.

Jerry started early as an investor in student housing for the University of Dayton, and in 1977 came to Sarasota as the Marketing Partner of Daybreak Development Company, which was involved the last phases of Midnight Cove II on Siesta Key.

His real estate sales experience also extends to land, commercial and multi-family properties. He is a past president of the Commercial Investment Division of the Sarasota Board of Realtors.

Jerry is an avid tennis player, golfer and swimmer. He spends his spare time enjoying their two sons and several grandchildren, fishing and supporting many Christian non-profits.

Jerry and his wife, Sandy, have worked real estate in Sarasota since 1981, know the market completely, and specialize in waterfront and golf course communities.
