Joanne Pattona, REALTOR®

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Joanne Pattona spent most of her life on Long Island, where she owned and operated a Carvel Ice Cream franchise in Stony Brook for 13 years. Joanne also worked as a trainer for Response Crisis Intervention and Suicide Hotline for 12 years, and served on the board in many capacities over time. Passionate for her community, Joanne became a tireless fund raiser for the Deborah Heart and Lung Institute in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

In 1990, Joanne and her family thought it was time to find their place in the sun. In 1997, they settled in Rotonda, where she began her real estate career as a specialist in new home construction. Joanne gradually eased into the resale market, which she has since come to love. Her efforts in helping clients realize their dream of owning a new home or rental villa has brought her praise, a loyal following, and thriving referral business from satisfied customers across the USA and from all over the UK. Joanne is energetic, enthusiastic and passionately committed to seeing each transaction result in a positive outcome for her buyers and sellers.

Joanne and her husband, Bruce, have been married 47 years and have two children, Dean, an instructor with the New York City Police Department, and Dana, a real “International Beauty Expert” and Consultant for Coty and Sally Hansen. Dana also owns and operates a beauty school and spa training facility on Long Island.

The joy in their life comes from their four grandchildren and their nutty Airedale rescue dog, Big Louie.
