Jody Skapyak specializes in helping buyers looking for short sales, bank owned and best opportunities. She has a keen sense of knowing her clients' wants and needs by her ability to effectively communicate and listen. She is an experienced negotiator and has helped her clients save thousands of dollars. She has sold homes of all price ranges in Bradenton, Sarasota, Osprey, Venice, Nokomis and Englewood. Her extensive knowledge of the current market and excellent marketing plan have resulted in her clients getting the best price with the fastest results when selling their homes.

Her work experience in Sarasota County has spanned over 11 years. Before her career in real estate, Jody was a corporate software trainer who helped executives learn and understand the various computer programs critical to their organizations. Some of the companies that she worked with included Fairview Hospitals and Healthcare in Minnesota; Tropicana; Arthur Andersen; and several local law firms in Bradenton and Sarasota. This has helped Jody tremendously to stay on top of technology so that she is able to communicate and get information to her clients very quickly. Prior to that, she attended Normandale Community College, where she earned her Associate's of Arts degree. She also attended Metropolitan State University, where she studied Computer Information Systems.

Jody and her family have lived in northern Sarasota, Palmer Ranch and now reside in Rivendell located in Osprey. Originally from Minnesota, Jody is married and has three children that are in school and are very active in local sporting events. She can provide an abundance of insight about area schools, activities and community information. In her leisure time, Jody enjoys reading, kickboxing, biking, boating, traveling, playing tennis, going to the beach and Tampa Bay Buccaneer games. She is a member of the Venice Area Women's League (VAWL), which is an organization that provides financial support in educational, cultural, environmental and social activities for the youth in our community.
