Prior to a career in real estate, John was in Retail Management with Kroger where he spent thirteen years, achieving positions of Store Leader, Produce Coordinator, and Produce Field Specialist. His skills in business, leadership, and economics were further enhanced at Roanoke College in Salem, VA, where he received bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration (B.B.A.) and in Economics (B.A.) as well as earning a concentration in Finance. He also served as the VP of Alumni Relations with Alpha Kappa Psi (Professional Business Fraternity) and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon (Economics Honor Society).
Skilled in focus, discipline, and achieving goals, John is also an avid martial artist, actively training and teaching since 2006. He has earned the ranks of Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Brown Belt in Judo. John and his wife, Valery, owned a martial arts studio in Parkersburg, WV, where they lived for four years before relocating to North Port. He also spent time in Charleston, WV and was born and raised in Roanoke, VA.
