Originally from Toronto, Canada, Julia Lurz is a 15-year resident of Sarasota with over 20 years in the real estate industry in both Illinois and Florida. Highly familiar with the fabulous communities and neighborhoods of the Sarasota area, she welcomes the opportunity to assist residents or people who are new to the area in buying or selling property in all price ranges and styles.

Julia’s background includes on-site experience with the design and completion of new construction properties. Her inside knowledge of local builders in the Lakewood Ranch area and The Oaks gives her a unique perspective to those buyers looking to build a home or remodel an existing property. Her good humor and steadfast calm, knowing the construction process inside out, will be an asset to a buyer considering new construction.

Now experiencing empty nest syndrome, Julia is familiar with the harmonious space needed to raise a family as well as downsizing. With her new found freedom, she is enjoying creative cooking inspired by Food Network, being a first-time dog owner to a mini red poodle named Addie, and exploring her resident community of Prestancia. An avid literary fan, Julia enjoys reading a good mystery, as well as writing her own.
