Kathy Herbst, REALTOR®

While originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Kathy Herbst grew up and was raised in Sarasota, having relocated to the area in 1974. As a longtime resident of Florida’s Gulf Coast, she has developed an intimate knowledge of the many unique communities that make this region remarkable, specializing in residential properties located West of the Trail and on Casey Key, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lakewood Ranch, and within all major golf course communities. Kathy also brings a high familiarity of the Bradenton and Anna Maria markets.

Kathy began her professional career as a nurse, a position she enjoyed before 10 years before transitioning to the real estate industry in 1992. This background helped her form her exceptional focus on genuine personal care, a similarity between the two professions. Through her customer-focused approach, Kathy earned recognition as a consistent 100% Club agent with ReMax before joining Michael Saunders & Company, which she considers an extraordinary company with an extraordinary reputation.

Kathy is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Sarasota Association of Realtors, and the Women's Council of Realtors, Sarasota Chapter. An active part of the community, she also serves as a current member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is a past member of the board of directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Kathy loves participating in sports, especially tennis, running and bike riding. She also loves to read.
