Originally from the Jersey Shore, Kim Kruysman’s family has owned a home on Manasota Key in Sarasota County for over 20 years. Kim attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, and earned her bachelor’s degree in business and marketing. She fell in love with Florida and wound up staying and working in real estate for 10 years. After moving back to New Jersey, she founded a highly successful home furnishings and import store. Kim also studied interior design California.

Kim obtained a Florida real estate license in 1994, a New Jersey real estate license in 2008, and has over 15 years of real estate experience—as well as coming from a family of real estate investors. Kim values both her family and community and loves animals. She and her husband have three children and a number of pets. Kim’s hobbies include yoga, exercise, reading, photography and spending time with friends and family. Kim is actively involved in the Pine View and Venice Elementary PTO’s as a volunteer on committees and fundraising events.
