Raised in St. Petersburg, Laurel is a fourth-generation Floridian, born into a family of builders, architects, and artists. With inspiration to become an interior designer, Laurel graduated from the renowned Ringling College of Art and Design and soon established a Sarasota-based design firm with a focus on residential projects. Laurel is now excited to be partnering with Michael James, who has over 20 years of experience selling residential real estate in Sarasota. Their partnership provides a team with a unique balance of real estate expertise, local knowledge, personalized service and attention to detail.

Laurel and Michael have lovingly raised a blended family of three sons making them well versed in the art of negotiation. She has also achieved her advanced yoga teacher certification that has brought a deeper understanding of people and environments. Creativity and enjoying friends are Laurel’s happy places.
