Most people know Denise and her husband, Roberto, as the owners of Café Baci, an Italian restaurant that has become a destination for those looking for an authentic dining experience with the warmth and heart of its gregarious proprietors. As a champion of children, she devotes her volunteer time to a multitude of children’s charities. The top of her list is the YMCA Foundation, which provides extensive services and a wide reach into the community to address the needs of many area children and families. Denise also supports and chairs fundraising events for Make-A-Wish, Girls Inc., Children First, and most recently with UCP, where her daughter, Lea, is the Director of Development and Communications. Denise says the core of her being is her family. Nothing makes her happier than spending time with them creating memories.
