Originally from Chicago, Tim Field’s family moved to Sarasota in 1952. Living in downtown Sarasota and on Longboat Key, he’s seen many real estate changes and values over the years. Tim’s career is varied from managing Colony Beach & Tennis Resort; opening the Contemporary Hotel-Walt Disney World; managing Arvida’s Longboat Key Golf Club, planning the development of “Inn on the Beach” and the Harbourside Golf Club; to personally developing waterfront residential single-family homes, waterfront condominiums, and commercial property on Longboat Key. He knows real estate from land acquisition, planning, development, construction through sales.
Real estate always interested Tim, who earned his salesman license in 1969 and his broker’s license in 1973. He owned his own real estate sales development company and managed Arvida Realty Sales in the middle-‘90s through its progression into general brokerage from new home sales. Tim rejoined Michael Saunders & Company in 2003 to develop the International Division, specializing in international resort residential communities, anchored by Five-Star Luxury Hotels.
Tim’s love of sailing and boating has made him the west coast local expert on true “deep sailboat water” and all the nooks and crannies of the boating world, whether you wish a home, condominium, land or investment property. His historical knowledge of the area, his dedication to integrity, and his negotiating skills offer superb customer satisfaction whether buying or selling on the west coast of Florida.
