40th Anniversary Picnic in the Gardens

Michael Saunders & Company celebrated its fortieth year in business with a fun-filled company picnic at Selby Gardens on Saturday, June 25th, 2016. Agents, employees, leadership and families were invited to enjoy a summer evening with delicious barbecue, games, face paining,caricature artist, balloon twisters, lively Reggae music, ice cream, and camaraderie.

Around 750 people gathered from our 24 offices in Manatee, Charlotte, and Sarasota County.

It was a day of family fun for everyone.

One of the most anticipated moments was revealing the winners of the “Plentiful Picnic Basket Contest” benefiting three charities that focus on child hunger in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte County. All offices and divisions created imaginative baskets filled with healthy snacks to benefit:

Sarasota County:  Children’s Healthy Pantry,
Manatee County:  FELT (Feeding Empty Little Tummies)
Charlotte County:  Back Pack Kidz

First place was awarded to the St. Armands Circle I and St. Armands Circle II offices.

Second place belonged to Main Street Sarasota and the Ritz-Carlton sales office.

That is Michael Saunders as a mermaid ion the upper left.
