All the World’s a Stage: This Week in Southwest Florida Arts & Culture

There’s a great deal of action taking place on the stages across Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte County this week. From beautiful ballets to Broadway musicals, venues around town are brimming with live music, dance, and drama. We are bringing you a round up of our top picks in the Southwest Florida cultural scene.

At the Ballet
Onstage for one weekend only, the Sarasota Ballet presents Balanchine, Ashton, and Tudor at the Sarasota Opera House featuring the choreography of three masters set with the music of Igor Stravinsky, Sir Malcolm Williamson, and Sergei Prokofiev. Luck Be a Lady Tonight

Just Jammin’
Florida Studio Theatre presents Million Dollar Quartet a musical inspired by the legendary and impromptu jam session with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash that took place on December 4, 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis. Bernstein – Tchaikovsky – Brahms

A Mel Brook’s Musical

Dreams of Dancing

Let’s Lindy on the Lawn
