There’s no denying that we love where we live and now, there’s one more Sarasota accolade to add to the community trophy case.
More than 100,000 participants cast their votes in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards survey for the Best Small Cities in the United States. The roundup features a collection of beloved cities with a population of under 150,000. Sarasota was named to the illustrious list that included other favorite small cities like Aspen, Santa Fe, Charleston and Ashville.
Conde Nast Traveler praised Sarasota’s “technicolor sunsets, growing farm-to-table movement, soft beaches, and culture” and our area’s well-loved attractions like The Ringling, Sarasota Opera House, and Lido Key and Siesta Key Beaches.
