Jo Carter

Jo Carter brings a wealth of real estate leadership experience as a broker and sales manager. After receiving her Tennessee license in 1975, Jo went on to be licensed in Sarasota in 1980, receiving her Florida broker’s license in 1982 and instructor’s license in 1983. Her areas of expertise complement the company’s established reputation as the area’s leading real estate firm. Dedicated to the continued excellence of our associates, she uses her vast expertise in leadership, sales, marketing and service to meet the high standards established by Michael Saunders & Company. After joining Michael Saunders & Company in 2002 as training director and a floating office manager, she began the Michael Saunders & Company training program. She submitted the training material to DBPR and received certification to offer continuing education in-house for MSC-agents, making Michael Saunders & Company the only company in Sarasota certified to do so. Formerly a manager for 21 years, she has led many top offices in the Longboat Key, St. Armands, and Sarasota markets since 1981. Jo is now the manager of the Englewood office, while also overseeing the Punta Gorda office.
