As Director of Relocation and Referral Services, Joan M. Erni, CRP, GMS, oversees all aspects of referral and lead management for Michael Saunders & Company, as well as the residential side of the MSC Asset Management Group; the division which lists and sells bank and other corporately owned assets.

A New York licensed associate broker, Joan has earned the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP™) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS™) designations from Worldwide ERC, and has been involved in the real estate and relocation field for over 18 years. Before joining Michael Saunders & Company, Joan was the Vice President of Relocation and Home Services at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty on Long Island, NY. Prior to being appointed Vice President, she served as an Outgoing Coordinator, Incoming Coordinator, Corporate Property Manager, and Relocation Director, which helped bring an understanding of all phases of the industry.

Joan is an active member of the Relocation Directors Council (RDC), and serves or has served on numerous committees and task forces, which include her current involvement with the RDC New Membership Committee, the RDC Welcome Committee and the Chair of RDC Sponsorship Committee. She also serves as a Leading Real Estates Companies of the World Mentor, and was the Planning Chair of the RDC Mentor Program for 2007 and 2008. Some highlights of her prior involvements include being the Co-chair of the RDC Fall Meeting and Corporate Reception held in Washington, DC, Vice-Chair of the RELO Advisory Council (RAC), charter member of the Luxury Real Estate.com Referral Advisory Council and former member of the RELO Xchange task force. Her love for the industry and enthusiastic support of the referral endeavor make her a happy and willing mentor to those new to the field.

Joan has been awarded the President's Service Award and the Chairman's Service Award by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, in recognition of her contributions to the network, its members and the relocation and real estate industry.
