Though not a native, Priscilla and her family have called Sarasota home for over a decade and have been visiting regularly since her parents retired here 25 years ago. Priscilla has lived, worked and traveled all over the world and can easily say there aren’t many places that rival Sarasota and all that it offers.

Priscilla was born in Columbia, TN, but moved to Fairfield, CT at the age of two. She re... more.mained there for 16 years until leaving for Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, to study British History and Elementary Education. After graduation, she had the opportunity to work in London and travel throughout Europe. Once bitten by the travel bug, she spent the next few years backpacking around the world and has visited more than 25 countries.

Over the years, Priscilla has lived in New York City, Washington D.C. and Las Vegas and has worked with major celebrities at one of the “Big Five” U.S. talent agencies, in public relations within the corporate and music industries and as a researcher with CBS Television. Once settled in Sarasota, Priscilla and her husband purchased the already established Word of Mouth restaurant. They went on to open two more locations that became as busy and popular as the original Word of Mouth. After 10 years they decided to sell the business, finally giving Priscilla the time to pursue her dream of becoming a real estate agent in Sarasota.

Through business and personally, Priscilla has spent the past 10 years supporting and fundraising for many local causes including Mothers Helping Mothers, All Faiths Food Bank, The Salvation Army, and SPARCC. She is a five-year breast cancer survivor and has coordinated the Survivor’s Dinner for several American Cancer Society sponsored Relay for Life walks and is a supporter of Key to the Cure held at Saks Fifth Avenue every October. The majority of Priscilla's volunteer time, though, has been devoted to her daughter’s schools, The Temple Beth Sholom Schools and Pine View School. In her free time, she loves walking on the beach and collecting shark teeth, going to the movies, playing on a local trivia team, reading, traveling and spending time with her daughter.
