While we realize the premise of What’s New SRQ is to share all the great additions to our area, we can’t express how excited we are for more and more businesses to join the ranks. Discover what Baltimore-based company is making a move as well as two new restaurants poised to hit the scene.
More Orioles Flocking to Sarasota
Well, we’re assuming they are Orioles fans! RMF Engineering, a Baltimore-based engineering firm has announced their furthering commitment to the Southeast by selecting Sarasota as home to its first Florida office. The company, founded in 1983, has multiple offices along the east coast of the United States and will move into new offices in Lakewood Ranch soon.
More than Just Pizza
At The Mark, downtown is downstairs. And now we finally know what that exactly means. MidiCi, a Neapolitan pizza company, has been announced as the first commercial tenant. Our mouths are watering already just thinking of the fresh mozzarella and other fine ingredients used in their world-famous pizzas. But what excites us even more is their mission to “bring friends together”. This is a business with pizza on its mind, but people in its DNA. We think it will be the perfect addition to downtown Sarasota.
More Great Food
Everyone and we mean everyone, loves a classic Philly cheesesteak. The cheese, fresh bread, tender rib-eye steak, all piping hot off the grill… oh we can taste it now. The wait will soon be over as Kruk’s Philly Steaks makes its way to The Landings and The Market at UTC. Founded by professional baseball player John Kruk on the premise that he just couldn’t find a Philly-authentic cheesesteak when he moved to Naples in 2010, Kruk’s Sarasota locations will be number three and four for the foody entrepreneur on Florida’s Gulf Coast
