With thirty-five years’ experience as a Realtor®, Keith offers meticulous service to home buyers and sellers. Skilled in both sales and sales management, he has a practical understanding of the real estate market, superior negotiating abilities, and is committed to providing an experience for customers where every detail matters. As part of The Keith Kropp & Wayne Rogers Team, Keith and Wayne, his partner in business and life for over 43 years, have been proud to help others to achieve their goal of homeownership in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Keith is originally from the Midwest and grew up on the North Shore of Chicago. He launched his real estate career in central Florida in 1984, working for new home builders in both sales and sales management where he was named Sales Manager of the Year twice by the Home Builder’s Association of Mid-Florida. He was then selected by The Walt Disney Company to head the sales team for Celebration, Disney’s master-planned community, as the Broker of Record for Celebration Realty. Eventually transitioning into general real estate, Keith opened his own brokerage, FrontGate Realty. Moving to Sarasota in 2011, Keith and Wayne have continued to serve buyers and sellers with mutual trust, kindness, and respect.
Continuing education and community involvement have always been a fundamental part of Keith’s practice. He has a B.S. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University. Today, his real estate designations include GRI, ePro, At Home With Diversity, GREEN, and SRES. He is also an active member of numerous Realtor® associations and is involved with Equality Florida and the Harvey Milk Festival.
Keith loves being in Sarasota where the climate, waterways, culture, and community couldn’t be better. He enjoys working out, reading, playing piano (which he didn’t begin until he was 50 years old!) and spending time with Dancer and Panda, their two Siberian Huskies.
