Originally from Maine, Marci McFarland understands the special nature of living and working in communities that successfully blend the needs of its year-round residents with those of its seasonal population. Calling Sarasota her second home since the 1980s, she relocated to Florida’s Gulf Coast in 2007 with her two children, where she currently specializes in residential properties.

Marci has lived and worked in many places on the east coast, including Maine, Boston, New York, Delaware and North Carolina. Before transitioning her career to become a Realtor, Marci served as the director of planning and marketing for a health care system in Maine, and worked for a large architectural firm in Boston as the director of marketing. Spanning over 20 years, her background involved various aspects of real estate including marketing, strategic planning, consulting and research, all of which enhance her abilities to achieve results for her clients.

Marci has a love of architecture, Sarasota history, sailing, golf and the arts.
