Giving back to the communities we serve and call home has always been a top priority for Michael Saunders & Company. That's why we established the MSC Foundation, our philanthropic arm dedicated to providing financial support to a wide range of non-profit organizations that tirelessly work to improve the lives of thousands of people across Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Pinellas, and Lee Counties. The MSC Foundation is fully funded by employees, agents and leadership.

Since 2011, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.4 million to worthy organizations, including programs focused on youth, family, homeless, and mental health services, as well as at-risk arts and literacy programs. Each year, these numbers continue to grow, showcasing our commitment to making a positive impact in our communities every day.

Funds raised by the MSC Foundation are distributed through a formalized process overseen by the Foundation Council, comprised of an agent or staff member from each of the company’s 19 sales or administrative offices. The Council meets twice a year to guide the philanthropic activities of the foundation and determine how funds will be distributed.

Recipients of MSC Foundation grants are some of the most unsung organizations in the community. Twice a year, we are honored to present grants to representatives of these programs during a ceremony attended by agents, branch managers, and company leaders. We understand the value of supporting these important community initiatives. Bringing the stewards of these organizations together allows them to collaborate, share ideas, and build relationships, furthering their impact on the community.

Through the generosity of our agents—who donate a portion of their real estate commissions in their clients’ names—and our staff, who contribute each pay period, we’re committed to making life along the Gulf Coast even better.
