Originally from the Philadelphia area, Barry spent more than four decades building a career in New York City. His professional journey has included casting direction, talent management, set design and decoration, acting, stand-up comedy and customer development. He’s a familiar face on both the small and big screen, with appearances on multiple popular TV shows, as well as forging collaborations with award-winning design professionals. Barry’s career gives him an exceptional appreciation for architecture, interiors and the details that make a house feel like home.

Real estate has been part of Barry's life from an early age. He previously held a real estate license in New Jersey during the 1980s and now brings that longstanding interest to Florida, where he enjoys helping retirees and young families discover the lifestyle they've been dreaming about. His approach is rooted in honesty, careful listening and thoughtful guidance. Barry believes that understanding a client's goals always comes before offering advice, and if he doesn't have an answer, he'll find the right resource to help.

A graduate of Washington and Lee University with a bachelor's degree in theater and design, Barry also studied at the University of Virginia, Pratt Institute, New York University and the School of Visual Arts. His education, combined with decades of experience in visual design and client service, gives him a unique perspective when evaluating homes and helping clients recognize a property's potential.

Barry has called North Port home for the past five years and loves the welcoming spirit, beautiful beaches, outstanding restaurants and relaxed Gulf Coast lifestyle. Outside of real estate, he continues to pursue acting while enjoying the area's vibrant arts and cultural scene. He is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, the American Guild of Variety Artists and the Writers Guild of America, and has long supported God's Love We Deliver, a nonprofit dedicated to providing meals and services to homebound individuals.
