With more than 15 years of real estate experience and an extensive background in sales and property management, Chris specializes in luxury, waterfront, residential, and investment properties throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast. Before relocating to Lakewood Ranch in 2011, Chris and his wife, Jamie Van Vliet, co-owned Van Vliet Real Estate in San Diego, California, specializing in luxury and investment properties. During that time, Chris managed more than 3,000 residential units and helped facilitate a record-breaking $7 million home sale. His diverse experience gives clients valuable insight into both residential living and investment opportunities designed to build long-term wealth.
Chris and Jamie have proudly called Lakewood Ranch home for over 15 years and enjoy introducing others to the community and lifestyle they love. Whether spending time on the golf course, boating, fishing, or supporting local events, Chris values creating authentic relationships that extend far beyond the transaction. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, he is also a passionate supporter of the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Faith, family, and service remain central to Chris and Jamie’s lives. They are active members of The Source Church and supporters of Selah Freedom and other local nonprofits. As parents of four children and grandparents to 14 grandchildren, they are passionate about leaving a meaningful legacy through both their business and their commitment to serving others.
