Of course, so much more can be said about Denise’s professionalism, tenacity and passion for customer service, family, and zeal for life. Embarking on her real estate career with Michael Saunders & Company, Denise brings 26 years of experience from the banking industry, most recently as V.P. Financial Sales Manager at a local bank here in Lakewood Ranch for the past six years where she provided the best customer experiences to her clients looking to achieve their goals.


After a time of being a stay-at-home mom, Denise has made the transition from banking to real estate because she feels the two industries have commonalities and her experience crossed over well. Having helped customers previously with lending and leasing in the past, Denise brings a unique understanding to real estate from both perspectives for sellers and buyers on value, profitability, and cost analysis. More so, she truly listens and gets to the heart of what her customer's real estate needs are. Denise understands that whether selling or buying, real estate is a sentimental matter and there is always a story with every customer.


Living in Oak Grove Park for nearly five years and around University Park and Lakewood Ranch since she moved to the area in 1999, there isn’t much about the surrounding communities Denise can’t tell you. She and her husband Rich, a licensed general contractor, have been married for 24 years and together for 30 years and fell in love with Sarasota during a visit for their first wedding anniversary and vowing they’d move as soon as possible. They moved the next year and started a family. Their daughter, Rachael, is 15, and an avid equestrian who competes in Hunter/Jumper and Equitation events with her horse, Arlo. You can find Denise – who is the youngest of six from Connecticut and her family calls the outgoing and fun one of them – camping in Fort Wilderness and River Ranch with her husband and daughter, enjoying cruises, and theme parks, relaxing by the pool, spending time with her dogs, or reading. She is a former LSF board member, on the Professional Development Committee with RASM, and belongs to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs.
