Raised in Petoskey, Michigan, she went on to graduate from Duke University with a double major in Economics and Public Policy before beginning her career in corporate finance and sales. After relocating to Florida in 2013, Jaya developed a deep understanding of the region’s market by getting to know the area firsthand—from Sarasota’s established neighborhoods to the barrier islands and emerging communities throughout the Suncoast. Now living in Osprey after many years in Sarasota, she offers nuanced insight into both counties, speaking just as confidently about Lakewood Ranch as she does about Casey Key, Siesta Key, or Anna Maria.

Jaya has a particular talent for helping clients relocate from out of state, drawing on her own experience of moving between regions and her extensive knowledge of Sarasota County schools, gained while raising two sons through the local system.
