For Kaleagh Asay, Sarasota isn’t simply where she lives—it’s home. Originally from Toms River, New Jersey, she moved to Sarasota at age five and has called the area home ever since. After previously living in Palmer Ranch, she recently moved to the Sarasota area near the airport, just off University Parkway and Tamiami Trail. With a lifetime of local knowledge and firsthand experience growing up and raising a family in the area, she understands what makes Sarasota such a special place to live.

Family is at the heart of Kaleagh’s life. She has been married to her husband for 18 years, and together they have three children, Leo, Trey and Gianna, ages 11, 9 and 7. She is also a proud stepmother to her 28-year-old stepson and stepmother-in-law to her daughter-in-law, and loves being a grandmother to their three young children.

When asked what she loves most about Sarasota, Kaleagh doesn’t hesitate: she loves Sarasota as a whole. From Clark Road to University Parkway and everywhere in between, she feels a deep connection to the community she has known for most of her life. Her local perspective allows her to appreciate the many neighborhoods, lifestyles and opportunities Sarasota has to offer.

Outside of real estate, Kaleagh’s favorite way to spend her time is with the people she loves most. Family comes first, followed closely by her love of animals—especially cats. She has always had a soft spot for animals, with cats holding a special place in her heart.

Friends and family describe Kaleagh as positive, supportive and dedicated. She takes pride in being a fantastic mother and strives to be the best person she can be every day. These qualities shape the way she approaches her relationships with others and are the foundation she brings to her real estate career.
