Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Karen originally landed on beautiful Longboat Key and then to Venice. Her tradition of excellence, professionalism, and integrity within the field of real estate lead her to be recognized with a Michael Saunders & Company Master’s Award. Beyond real estate, she has experience as a graphic designer, utilizing her expertise to ensure an elegant presentation of marketing materials. She is also well-studied in residential architectural history, particularly loving the Sarasota mid-century MOD homes, and having majored in architecture at the Penn State branch of Penn College of Technology.

Karen has proudly served on the board of directors of the Venice Area Historical Society for 5 years. Currently in her spare time, she enjoys golfing & pickleball play with friends and is a.k.a. "Scottie". She also cherishes the ARTS, time spent in wild saltwater nature as well as thoughtful moments in her own personal Zen garden. She has three adult children and spectacular grandkids. Then, there’s Hoagie, her wire-haired dachshund, who is a beloved little guardian.
