With a strong background in marketing, communications, and client relations, Laura Ferrara Phelan brings seven years of real estate experience and a refined, detail-oriented approach to her role with the Kim Ogilvie Group. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she relocated to Sarasota in 2023 and now calls Nokomis home, where she enjoys the coastal lifestyle that first drew her family to the Suncoast.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication with a minor in English from Towson University, a foundation that has proven invaluable to her success in real estate. Her experience spans marketing, journalism, and broadcasting—skills that enhance her ability to present properties effectively, communicate clearly, and foster meaningful relationships built on trust and integrity.

Prior to joining Michael Saunders & Company, Laura worked as a listing and marketing coordinator for a boutique brokerage in Maryland and later as a licensed assistant to Kim Ogilvie. She also serves as Director of Business Development for her family’s contracting company, Shore Home Remodeling, which provides her with a comprehensive understanding of home design, renovation, and construction—knowledge she skillfully integrates into her work with buyers and sellers alike.

Known for her honesty, composure, and professionalism, Laura ensures that each customer experiences a seamless and well-guided transaction. She believes the best real estate experiences are those that feel effortless to the client because their agent has handled every detail with care and precision.

Active in the Venice Chamber of Commerce, Laura values community connection and the welcoming spirit of the Suncoast. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the water with her family, exploring local farmer's markets, reading, traveling, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
