Originally from Iowa, Maria spent 23 years in Memphis, Tennessee, before making Sarasota her home. She first lived downtown, getting to know the city’s charm, and now enjoys the vibrant Southside Village community. Her love for Sarasota stems from its incredible variety—whether it’s Longboat Key, St. Armands Circle, Siesta Key, or Downtown, she believes each area offers something special for both residents and visitors.


Maria’s career began in medicine, earning a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and completing a surgical fellowship. She draws strong parallels between her medical training and her real estate practice: gathering information to understand unique client needs, following structured systems to ensure smooth transactions, and delivering thorough follow-up care to maintain lasting relationships.


Maria obtainer her real estate license in 2013 and obtained her broker’s license in 2019.


Her clients describe her as attentive, enthusiastic, and committed. Maria treats every client as though they are her only one, putting their needs first, showing up daily with energy and dedication, and working tirelessly to create seamless, successful outcomes. Outside of real estate, Maria finds joy in golfing with her close-knit group at Longboat Key Club, cycling, gardening, and exploring Sarasota’s renowned dining scene. A proud mother of three accomplished adult children, she is inspired daily by their drive and success.
