Mick McCalley serves as Managing Broker of Michael Saunders & Company’s Venice and Wellen Park offices, bringing more than a decade of real estate experience and a leadership style centered on accessibility, collaboration, and helping agents build successful, sustainable businesses.

Mick began his real estate career as a sales associate, earning recognition as an award-winning agent before broadening his industry experience with David Weekley Homes, where he worked in lot acquisition and new home sales. He later returned to residential brokerage and transitioned into leadership, serving in sales management and managing broker roles with a national real estate brokerage across several Florida markets.

Throughout his career, Mick has worked with offices and teams of widely varying sizes, from leading more than 110 agents in Lakewood Ranch to supporting an office of more than 400 agents in Winter Park. His experience working across multiple markets has strengthened his ability to quickly understand an office's needs, build relationships with experienced real estate professionals, and adapt his leadership approach to the agents and communities he serves.

As a licensed Florida real estate broker, Mick places a strong emphasis on being readily available to agents. His approach combines business coaching, knowledge of contract and risk management, problem-solving, and a belief that experienced professionals perform at their best when leadership provides the support and resources they need while respecting their independence.

Mick has also been involved with the local REALTOR® association through committee service supporting professional standards and industry scholarship initiatives.

He was drawn to Michael Saunders & Company by the firm’s longstanding reputation for professionalism, high standards, and leadership in the local real estate community. He is particularly excited about the opportunity to work with the accomplished agents of the Venice and Wellen Park offices and to be part of the continued growth of these dynamic markets.

Florida has been home to Mick for most of his adult life, including many years in Orlando and Tampa. He and his wife, Rachel, now live in Parrish with their two sons, Liam and Canon. Outside of real estate, much of their time is centered around their sons, their local school community, and Canon’s baseball games.
