Previously, Shawnie was part owner of a commercial and industrial painting company specializing in roof coating systems, waterproofing, building envelope protection, general construction, and high-rise window glazing. During this time, Shawnie helped expand the business from a small county market into the greater San Francisco Bay Area, ultimately overseeing sales, marketing, human resources, and financial operations. The company grew to include two locations and approximately 75 employees, serving notable clients such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Cisco, Wells Fargo, and Stanford University. This experience developed a strong foundation in business development, financial analysis, negotiation, and relationship management.

With a Bachelor of Business Administration and firsthand experience owning investment properties, including an industrial building, Shawnie offers a practical understanding of the financial considerations and operational needs involved in commercial real estate. Particularly interested in warehouse and industrial properties in the $2 million to $10 million range, Shawnie brings valuable industry knowledge to clients seeking investment opportunities or owner-occupied commercial spaces.

Known for responsiveness, follow-through, and a proactive approach to business, Shawnie believes successful real estate relationships are built on meaningful conversations, consistent prospecting, and a clear understanding of each client's goals. Drawing on years of experience managing projects and navigating challenges in construction, Shawnie approaches obstacles as opportunities to demonstrate professionalism, build trust, and deliver solutions. Outside of real estate, Shawnie enjoys spending time with family, reading, working out, cooking, photography, and exploring interests in business, finance, investing, and technology. Having moved to Lakewood Ranch with a spouse and two sons in search of a better quality of life, Shawnie appreciates the area's family-friendly atmosphere, excellent schools, and beautiful Gulf Coast sunrises and sunsets.
