Drawing on over three decades of experience in real estate, Wendy Meier brings extensive marketing expertise and local knowledge to her role as a Realtor® in the Venice office. Before becoming an agent, she served as a listing/closing coordinator for the Englewood branch from 2017 to January 2024, after a year as a listing coordinator in the Palmer Ranch office.

After moving to Sarasota from Minnesota, Wendy started her real estate career in marketing in 1990, eventually rising to the position of marketing director with ERA Mount Vernon, a role she held until 2008. A sports enthusiast, she also worked part-time at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota for several Major League Baseball teams. Prior to that, Wendy spent five years working in customer service for the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Gophers.

Known for her resourcefulness, strong work ethic and attention to detail, Wendy listens intently to her customers’ wants and needs and consistently follows up, ensuring seamless transactions from start to finish. A resident of North Port, she is seeking to work with first-time home buyers and individuals planning to relocate to the sprawling community.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Wendy is passionate about attending and watching sporting events on TV, especially baseball, football and basketball. She also relishes relaxing at the beach, kayaking adventures, live band performances, riding roller coasters at theme parks and traveling. Wendy is deeply committed to giving back to the community, volunteering with several cat and dog rescue organizations, including Rescue Garage in North Port, EARS in Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society in Englewood and Feline Friends. She also represents her Sarasota church on an area Affordable Housing Committee, which is comprised of more than 15 churches.

Wendy’s daughter, Katie, who graduated from North Port High School, and granddaughter, Kyra, a cheerleader with Pop Warner football, also live in North Port.
