Good morning, First of all, this email is well past due. Lisa Sebastian and Debra Pitell-Hauge did a fantastic job assisting me in finding the perfect home in Sarasota. In March, I was on vacation and decided to move to Sarasota on a whim. My sister, who has a condo in the same complex as Lisa, referred me to her. I primarily dealt with Lisa, but I know that Debra was assisting. Lisa took the time to sit down and listen to what I wanted. They printed out at least 30 listings. In addition, they sent me properties via email. They were very attentive to all of my emails, text messages and calls. Their level of communication is phenomenal! Lisa was always available to show me properties and gave great feedback. I was able to find a home and place an offer within 7 days of looking. How fantastic was that! I truly believe I wouldn’t have had the same experience with anyone else. I live in Louisville, KY and had a very opposite experience with a realator here- both with buying and selling a home. Since I had to come back to Louisville, they were there for the home inspection, advised of homeowners insurance agents to use, communicated with the HOA, utilities information, and walked me through all of the steps. There was so much that they did, I’m probably missing something. After the closing they shared a plumber and advised of a security system. This was absolutely the best experience I have had with a realator! One more thing I’d like to mention. I had a massive ear infection during the process and continued illness when I got home. My husband and I have purchased and sold a unit in Promenade Condominiums this past summer, as well as recently purchased a unit in Tangerine Bay closing this past September 17. 1/12/2022Last spring, our daughter, Kris Bagley, and her husband decided to move to Sarasota from Orlando. In choosing a realtor, I suggested Debra Pitell-Hauge. She had recently worked with close friends of ours in selling their waterfront home and relocating to a villa. They were verypositive in their evaluation of her abilities.Because Kris found a teaching position here, she has been living with us since last August when the new school year began. So we have been a part of the process of finding an appropriate new home with Debra and Lisa Sebastion.Together they made and outstanding team – very professional and thorough in guiding Kris through this process. Debra kept us apprised of the real estate news and sent us listings that she felt were comparable to our unit. She knew that it was a seller’s market and suggested a price that we could probably get for our unit. My husband and I both thought it was way overpriced but we also felt that Debra knew her stuff and so we agreed to list for 90 days to see what would happen. After only hours of being listed, we couldn’t believe it when Debra brought us a full-price cash offer with no conditions! We were “gobsmacked” to say the least that Debra had delivered exactly what she had promised. We couldn’t have asked for a more thorough, detail-oriented agent to initiate, proceed through the details and conclude this sale than Debra. She succeeded where others had failed to sell our property and we only wish we had met her sooner! When others ask us to recommend an agent to buy or sell their property, Debra is the person we will suggest.

In 2012 my husband and I purchased a condo in Beachplace on Longboat key and enjoyed spending part of our winter vacations in this beautiful spot, often with our family or friends. But as our family grew we found we needed more room so we decided to sell the condo and build a larger home on the mainland in Sarasota. Our real estate agent at the time took us to Esplanade By Siesta Key, we fell in love with this community and built our home there. We decided to sell the condo but two different agents were unsuccessful in finding a buyer for us.One of the first people we had met in Esplanade was Debra Pitell-Hauge and while talking to her discovered that she was very successful at selling condos at Beachplace. We filed that information as we had decided by this point that we would rent the unit while we got ourselves situated in our new home. Debra continued to keep us apprised of the real estate news at Beachplace and sent us listings that she felt were comparable to our unit in the hopes of enticing us to sell. We were having no trouble renting the unit so for the time being left the idea of selling alone. But Debra was persistent and eventually brought us an idea of an offer that we just had to consider. She knew that it was a seller’s market and suggested a price that we could probably get for our unit. My husband and I both thought it was way overpriced but we also felt that Debra knew her stuff and so we agreed to list for 90 days to see what would happen. We couldn’t have asked for a more thorough, detail oriented agent to initiate, proceed through the details and conclude this sale than Debra. She succeeded where others had failed to sell our property and we only wish we had met her sooner! Good afternoon Sharon, In my 40 years as a real estate attorney and after handling 1000’s of closings, I rarely comment on the roles and actions of the real estate agents involved in the deal. In this case I am making an exception. We just closed a complicated and difficult transaction today. Without their knowledge, professionalism and their ability to come up with innovative solutions I do not believe the parties would have been able to navigate the issues or that the outcome would have been nearly as pleasant for all involved.
