Our interest in purchasing a home on Longboat Key started last year and has become far more focused this year. Michael has listened very well to our stated needs and interests and selected excellent choices for us to consider. We were Canadians purchasing a condo in Longboat Key. We happened upon Michael when we stopped at Michael Saunders Real Estate Company in Longboat Key to inquire about condo's available in Longboat Key. Michael was not only kind, honest and friendly but very knowledgeable about the area. We bought the first condo we saw. Since the initial offer and prior to closing, Michael filled in the gaps as to what we needed to do to organize the purchase from Canada and not only acted as a liason but guided us in the right direction for a lawyer and insurance agent. His ability to help co-ordinate the smallest of details helped us close the purchase without returning to Florida prior to closing. All in all, it was a very positive experience.

Michael, Without you holding our hands and guiding us through our purchase from beginning to end, it would not have been possible. We appreciated you being available to answer our numerous questions and, if you didn’t know the answer, you quickly found out and relayed the information back to us. We are also thankful that you help coordinate all the necessary purchase details we needed to do from Canada. Real estate transactions are done differently in the United States from those in Canada and there are extra hurdles to go through being a non-resident. When you think about it, it is just amazing that we closed our deal without coming back to Florida in between offer to purchase and closing. Your honesty and also knowledge about Longboat Key was invaluable and we are glad we just happened to walk into your office and met you.

Michael did a fantastic job marketing and selling our property. He was diligent and at the same time very patient. He spent multiple Sundays hosting open houses at our property and never quit until the property was sold. I would highly recommend Michael!

From the moment we met Michael Yawitz until the closing, he helped us not only in matters directly relating to the house purchase but also with educating us on how things are done in the U.S.A. If he didn’t know the answer to anything, he found out in a very timely fashion. If there was a problem, he resolved it. I cannot speak highly enough of Michael; he was honest, kind, considerate, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. These qualities combined with his great sense of humor made him a tremendous person to have had on our side. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.
