Alex’s manner at first meeting created fertile ground for us to develop a warm working relationship that helped me stay at ease through the entire process. I was greeted with thorough research and market analysis. I received thoughtful guidance with the preliminary set up of the condo for presentation and photo images for the on line listing. I appreciated the intention to seek my input when employing particular design considerations. There was a full schedule of weekly open houses with the addition of private showings that resulted in a sincere amount of exposure and ultimately a bid that went to contract. Alex was extremely accessible throughout with the goal of providing information but also physically assisting me in the logistics of clearing out the residence as we approached the closing date. I had the sense from the start that I was in good hands with someone who brought a certain level of concern and respect for me as person.

Betsy and I could not be more pleased with how professionally and thoughtfully Alex represented Michael Saunders & Company. We haven’t purchased a house since 1986, and never in Florida, and he was patient in leading us through the process. He was efficient, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. His enthusiasm for Sarasota is infectious and his references, as well as restaurant recommendations, have already proven useful.

For more than a year, Alex searched for homes that met our interests and budget, made appointments and then escorted us to view them. He sent us listings throughout that time. When we had questions about anything, from the elevation to the possibility of building a garage or installing an elevator, he researched and provided the information. He was patient throughout the long search and conducted our contract and closing professionally. Alex is thorough, businesslike and enjoyable to work with.

Alex Stafford was, from the get-go, very attentive to our desired search for a great home for my husband and me. Alex was extremely diligent, professional and personal in his approach to us who he did not know before we met at an open house. I have had the good fortune of knowing Alex Stafford for over 20 years, and have nothing but admiration for his work, his character and his never ending enthusiasm for whatever project he tackles. We started out with a Publisher/Photographer relationship which was tremendous, then we both had children enrolled at the same Montessouri School and it was there I really saw his devotion and steadfast support where it matters most - family. I would venture to say there are very few in Alex's league in the Sarasota area...dedicated, talented, detail-oriented. He's one-of-a-kind and I am proud to offer the highest recommendation I can muster.
