My Husband and I recently purchased a beautiful house on 176 Wading Bird Drive in Venice, Florida. Our house-buying experience, with the help of your employees exceeded our expectations. We only had one week time to find what we were looking for! After screening the houses on the market, we put together a list of homes that coincided with our taste and budget. Working together ahead of time with Maureen Doherty (your Sarasota Office) via e-mail from Germany, we sorted out homes that we wished to include in our quest. At our first visit to your office, we were met by a very friendly, competent and most compatible real estate agent - Maureen- who whisked us away, with a stack of home brochures and a city map to accompany us on our adventure. The tour of the homes was a very delightful experience, with no questions being left open! Maureen not only showed us the homes, but gave us minute details of the interior/exterior qualities as well. Our inquires of monthly bills and charges were met with a slew of information, just as we expected from Maureen. Even our questions regarding culinary delights were answered readily with such details, for example which part of the restaurant had the best menu! That is what I consider to be service extraordinary! We also had the opportunity to enjoy the company of both Patrick Doherty and Michael James, who showed us homes on two following days. The outgoing personalities of both men made our home-shopping experience complete. The home tours were very intensive with expert advice and no rush at all. Michael gave us a special tour of Venice´s beach (even though it was especially windy that day), which made us fall in love with the area and assist us in making our decision. Even though our sale is complete, Maureen still helps us finding compatible services for the lawn, pool, garden, house, etc. She even sent me a list of all the companies I had to register with (FPL, Sarasota Water, Comcast and many more). Since we live in Germany, this information was a very valuable asset! So in our opinion, it was a very remarkable experience being accompanied by your agents! With respect, I wish to commend your realtor, Maureen Doherty, who, with her husband, made the sale of our beloved SRQ condo happen with absolutely NO hassle or trouble to me during a time of my own personal distress. As long-time SRQ Snow Birds, my husband and I arrived in January, looking forward to warm weather. Within a week, my husband of 49 years was, inexplicably, diagnosed with "Sudden Onset Dementia” and hospitalized in SMH for 5 days, followed by 19 days in "The Springs" Rehab. It was obvious our lives had permanently changed, and we had to return to Colorado asap for his care. As Maureen had occasionally shown us properties over the years, along with sending SRQ updates, I emailed her. Comparables in hand, she arrived at my door, and I sadly listed the condo my husband and I had enjoyed for 23 years. Our Colorado granddaughter flew to SRQ to help us return home, and I closed the condo door for the last time the day following Mac’s release from "The Springs" Rehab. Maureen then took over taking care of everything. Everything! She assured me, in my distress, not to worry about the condo. When the first contract bailed, she quickly found a second at an improved price! If the Inspection had problems, I never heard about them. Yesterday’s closing was 100% trouble-free. I simply could not have asked for better. She and her husband make a marvelous team and are assets to Michael Saunders & Co. and humanity. I am humbled and grateful.

I just want to express my gratitude and compliments to Maureen Doherty for all the hard work she did in helping me purchase my condo. She is tireless and such a joy to work with! I received the MLS notices, but she often beat me to it in spotting a condo that was within my requirements, and then she wasted no time in making an appointment to see it. When we found “the one” her quick action and professional knowledge helped me to be the lucky one whose offer was accepted. She really knows the market and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting to purchase in the Sarasota area.

We’ve completed 5 transactions with them now (4 as buyers, 1 as sellers), and surely there will be more in the future. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful they are and what a great team they make. We primarily work with Maureen, but Patrick is always available and helpful. October 21, 2015 Robin and I were extremely pleased with Maureen Doherty’s professionalism and customer care. She treated us like family; working around our schedule and timeline and ultimately helping us to find the perfect seasonal home in Bradenton, Florida. Maureen made herself available to us through every phase of the closing – answering questions, giving helpful advice and even offering to do the final walk through of our villa on our behalf so we didn’t have to make an extra trip to complete the closing. Maureen is an outstanding real estate agent who certainly understands the business and displays all the qualities of a true professional .
