Margie was a delight to work with and certainly knew her craft. She was always upbeat, perking me up when I was discouraged as we awaited a buyer. She worked well with the condo association to file the proper papers, She helped me move items around before the initial photo op day and was always polite and professional. She explained the market trend we were dealing with and the whole selling process fully. Margie helped with an early closing and surprised me with a lovely card and gift at that time. Jo-Anne knows this business inside and out. Her experience and expertise in real estate was an incredible asset to have when we were buying one property and selling another. Selling a home is always stressful, but our agent, JoAnne Sckowska, and her assistant, Margie Valentine, were so competent and efficient that the whole process was seamless and, in many ways, even easy for us. We purchased our home in 2009 from JoAnne. She was so professional, patient, and easy to work with then. As time went by, she was always available to keep us informed and up to date. When we decided to sell our home, we never considered talking to any other agent because we already knew that JoAnne is just the best. Everything went very smoothly from staging our home to the showings to right through the closing. Throughout the process, Margie was there to assist JoAnne, and she did that very well. We were impressed with her “people” skills and her attention to detail. Together, they make a wonderful team. We recommend them highly. We would also recommend Michael Saunders as a real estate company. Everyone that we met from the company was friendly and competent. Our experience was just great!

This is the second time we chose Jo-Anne as our realtor. Previously she helped us with the prolonged process of dealing with a short sale purchase and she worked hard to make it happen! Over the years I’ve worked with several realtors on both sides of the equation; selling and buying. Based on my personal experience Jo-Anne Sckowska stands out as being the best. She is very responsive, understands the business and offers suggestions on how to make the deal work for all involved. But above all her integrity and honesty is what I valued most.
