Our experience with Lin Dunn was excellent! My wife and I were a little apprehensive about leaving Illinois and looking to buy a home in Siesta Key, Florida. We had visited Siesta Key only a few times. A family friend, who is also a Realtor, referred us to Lin Dunn as she did not feel she had the expertise to meet our needs. Lin is a true professional. Lin first introduced himself telephonically and spent a good hour getting to know us and what our housing needs were (single-family, townhouse, condo) and if we were looking for more of a golf course community or more of an eclectic beachy lifestyle. Rose and I did not have good answers for Lin, so Lin decided to dedicate several days educating us on Sarasota and Siesta Keys. We learned about Palmer Ranch, West of the Trail, to condos on the beach and so much more. After days with Lin, we were able to let Lin know we did not like any housing that entailed major renovation or knocking down a house, so Lin focused us on new construction housing or vacant lots. With Lin's help, we decided that golf course living was not for us and eclectic beachy was for us. Lin then narrowed down the search to empty lots (mostly quarter acre) and homes that we could buy and knockdown. With Lin's help, we were able to purchase a half-acre lot just a 10-minute walk from the Siesta Key Village!!! How great!! Lin also introduced us to four builders. After interviewing them or their representatives, Rose and I were confident that John Cannon Homes was the right builder for us. We have had several meetings with the builder and have made most of our selections. Lin continues to stay involved as we build to help us with encroachment issues, tree removal and general information and referrals to contractors that we might need. Lin Dunn represents your company in the most professional and fun way. I would highly recommend Lin Dunn and have recommended him to family members who are thinking of moving to Florida.

Maurice was totally committed to the sale of our home. He had a formal appraisal done to make sure the house price was appropriate and advertised the listing in the Wall Street Journal and other publications. He had a glossy folder created that presented the house very well that was available to anyone who saw the property. He held numerous open houses. For every showing and for every open house he made sure the house was in perfect condition. This even involved blowing the leaves of off the driveway and working with the pool which was not caged. He contacted a painter and carpenter to improve the inside of the house. Maurice works well with people. He has a very upbeat personality. When a buyer was found, he was able to negotiate a final bid that was 27% higher than the original offer. All in all he did an excellent job.

Lin has been a close family friend for many years and was especially close to my parents. He has a way of getting to know people that makes them feel understood and special. My mom used to say that all she had to do was hear his laugh from a distance, and it would make her happy. When she passed away recently, he was right there to help, and when it came time to sell her home, he treated it with the greatest of care. When Lin comes into your home to help you get it ready for the market, it is like watching magic. He moves quickly from space to space and before you know it, your home has been transformed. Maurice has been a beloved family friend for many years, and we have witnessed firsthand his great personal qualities over that time. When it came time to sell our family home, he was right there, ready to help. In his role as our realtor, he remained the friend we had always known, but added his professional skills to the mix. Lin has been our realtor in Sarasota area for over 20 years. We have both bought and sold several times with him. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and very honest. You know that he has your best interest in mind whether you are buying and selling. I put my full trust in him and confident that he only wants his clients to be happy. I have also refereed several people to Lin, one being my father when he moved to the area and he was extremely impressed and comfortable with Lin. I will continue to refer friends and family to Lin, I feel that he is the best at his job and is a very caring and professional person.
