Working together as a husband-and-wife team, Albert "Lex" Pelder and Daralyn Duquette use their diverse individual strengths and talents to provide personalized service to their customers. In 2021, Lex joined Daralyn as an agent, bringing a different set of skills to their team, including experience negotiating contracts as a former estimator for a large commercial landscape contractor. He later became co-owner of a landscape company doing work for restaurants and golf courses and also has maintained large estate properties. Lex’s experience, combined with a degree in aboriculture and park management, enable him to offer sellers expert advice on how landscaping can enhance properties.

Daralyn is personable, friendly and organized, while Lex is a problem solver with boundless energy and a great sense of humor. Both are patient, hardworking and committed to clear, honest communication with their customers.

When not working, Daralyn enjoys acrylic and watercolor painting, arts and crafts, reading and socializing with friends. Lex is passionate about gardening, golf and boating. Together, the couple relish discovering new waterfront restaurants, exploring nature preserves and visiting their favorite beach, Boca Grande. They also enjoy taking travel-trailer trips with their pups, Duke and Maggie, spending time with their family, including four adult children in Massachusetts and three grandchildren.
