Formerly a professional chef and business owner, Fred’s work demanded creative solutions, an innovative mindset, and an innate understanding of what moves customers which he now brings to his real estate business. He has also been investing in Sarasota real estate for the past four years opening up a new passion. Fred is excited to be joining the Michael Saunders team and working alongside his aunt, Barbara Sassen May, a seasoned agent and long-time Sarasota resident.

Originally from Atlanta, Fred spent the last two decades in the San Francisco Bay area before settling down in Sarasota recently with his wife, Elizabeth, and four daughters. The family loves exploring their new community, namely Payne Park and Southside Village, for al fresco meals soaking up the beautiful Florida sun. Never forgetting his restaurant roots, Fred still enjoys cooking big family dinners and spending time around the table with friends and family.
