Leidy’s longtime passion for real estate led her to become a property investor, encompassing several successful renovations during the past decade, ultimately leading her to pursue a full-time career as an agent.
Through her previous profession, Leidy learned to be persistent, consistent and to treat everyone with the utmost respect, regardless of their backgrounds. She chose to affiliate with Michael Saunders & Company because she wanted to work with and learn from the best in the industry, with the goal of providing outstanding service to her customers.
Leidy is a member of several professional organizations, including a Series 7 – General Securities Representative and Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent State Law. She also has been involved with charitable organizations, including World Vision, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Leidy is fluent in Spanish. She moved to New York at age 16 and graduated from City University of New York – Lehman College with a B.S. degree in accounting. She then spent nearly 10 years working in New York City. Most recently, she lived in St. Louis for about 15 years, before making the transition to West Bradenton in 2020 and then becoming a full-time resident, along with her partner, Roch.
Leidy relishes Bradenton’s rich diversity, including residents from all walks of life, international visitors and a plethora of recreational activities. “From boating to walking on the beach to shopping and dining, it is just paradise. I'm definitely in love with the Longboat Key area, but my favorite areas for dining, entertainment and shopping are downtown Sarasota and St. Armands.
Traveling, dancing and real estate research are Leidy’s primary hobbies, and she takes joy in helping friends and family plan their domestic and international adventures. Her adult daughter, Lyanne, whom she raised as a single mom, lives in Orlando and owns a martial arts business with her boyfriend, Jon.
