Lori Simon, REALTOR®

Working together as The Simon Group, Lori and David Simon are seasoned sales professionals in Sarasota with complementary backgrounds in real estate development, marketing, mortgage finance and real estate law. As a team, they bring the advantage of their respective strengths and leverage their combined skills, contacts and local market knowledge to better serve their clients’ needs. Lori and David are proven specialists throughout the Sarasota area, including Longboat Key, Lido Key, St. Armands, Lakewood Ranch, University Park and beyond.

Originally from Birmingham, Michigan, Lori is the third generation of a real estate family. After entering the real estate industry in 2004, she worked as a sales agent for a prominent builder of exclusive condominiums and single-family homes. Following this role, she served as a Realtor sales agent for an independent luxury real estate company. Lori earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

A licensed attorney in Michigan since 1971, David practiced real estate, banking and business law for more than 30 years before he and his wife relocated to Sarasota in 2006. During that period, he also developed an extensive commercial banking background as founder and Chairman of a successful Michigan-based, publicly traded community bank for over 20 years. Since selling the bank, David worked in the development and sales of various condominium projects and single-family homes in Florida and Michigan. David earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

Before joining Michael Saunders & Company, Lori and David worked for Prudential Palms Realty on Longboat Key, where they earned a multitude of awards in recognition of their high level of production. Additionally, they are recipients of the Five-Star Best in Client Satisfaction Award from Sarasota Magazine for 2010 and 2011.
