Melanie chose to live in Sarasota because she considers it the best place to be. A resident of Palmer Ranch since 2017, Melanie’s decision to become a Realtor® stemmed from her genuine enjoyment of helping people. Leveraging her exceptional ability to actively listen to and understand clients’ needs, wants and financial capabilities, she is poised to deliver the desired results in Sarasota’s promising real estate market.
Fluent in English and French, Melanie holds a post-graduate degree in law, with a specialization in business IP/IT (intellectual property) and communications law. She also earned a marketing management degree at NYU, where she majored in strategy and innovation. Prior to her current role as an agent, she served as the head of international marketing for Certified Collectibles Group, catering to collectors and auction houses. Her professional journey also includes 13 years working for Rail Europe in New York, where she managed marketing and communications.
Born in Pittsburgh, Melanie grew up in French Provence, where her mother owned a real estate company. Her family discovered the allure of Sarasota 40 years ago, and she was a regular visitor until making it her full-time home. As an ambassador for Sarasota, she enthusiastically shares the area’s treasures, including its coastline, fauna and flora, cultural scene, outdoor activities and vibrant community. “Everybody I meet here is so happy to be in Sarasota, and passionate about preserving its beauty and quality of life while embracing modernity and welcoming more residents,” she said.
Melanie is a member of the Alliance Française de Sarasota and European-American Chamber of Commerce. When not working, she enjoys playing golf, tennis, boating with family and friends, and immersing herself in the vibrant arts and music scene.
