Michael Cochrane, REALTOR®

Originally from Marblehead, Massachusetts, Michael Cochrane relocated to the Palmer Ranch area of Sarasota in 2000. As a professional, he brings a robust background in information technology, which provides his clients with a competitive advantage.

After graduating with honors from a computer programming school in East Hartford, Connecticut, he entered the information technology field. Spending more than 26 years in this role, Michael worked his way up from entry-level programmer to the vice president of information management for a globally based insurance company. This experience taught him to develop and enhance the listening, communication, planning and organizing skills he engages with home buyers and sellers.

A licensed real estate professional since 2002, Michael has a passion for providing his clients with extraordinary service, integrity and honesty while helping them achieve their dreams. He specializes in properties throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties, both mainland and on the barrier islands, from luxury waterfront properties to simple starter homes.

Prior to joining Michael Saunders & Company, Michael was an award-winning Realtor with Coldwell Banker and Prudential Palms Realty, where he earned a number of accolades for top production.

Michael is a continuing volunteer of the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and was the past chairperson for the Sarasota Association of Realtors Community Outreach Committee. In his spare time, he enjoys bicycle riding, gardening, hands-on remodeling, traveling and swimming.
