Nora's family has been in Sarasota for three generations. She and her husband, Billy, and two children, Mackenzie and McIntyre, have made Sarasota their full-time home for the last 12 years.

Originally from Shaker Heights, OH, Nora later moved to Chicago, where after several years in the Chicago Apparel Center she worked for Donna Karan in marketing and public relations in both New York and Chicago. Nora also wrote a fashion column for a local paper and was drawn to community service, having been active in Junior League, Share our Strength, SRO, and one of the founders of PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) in Chicago.

Since moving to the Sarasota area—originally Casey Key and now Oyster Bay—Nora continues to pursue her calling in the design world and does projects from time to time with select clientele. Since returning to Sarasota, Nora has remained vigilant about her community service work, as she served and/or volunteered with the Out of Door Academy, ODA's Extravaganza, Forty Carrots Family Center, Wine Woman and Shoes twice, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota Conservation Foundation, American Cancer Society and has chaired Asolo Theatre's 50th Anniversary Gala and YMCA Going for the Gold Event.

In her spare time, Nora loves tennis, sailing, running, reading and spending time in the garden with her family.
